CNC Machine Control Unit(MCU)
Among our ongoing projects designing and developing a machine control unit for a Computer Numerical Control(CNC) machine for the purpose of punching and cutting sheet metal. The machine control unit (MCU) is the heart of a CNC system. It is used to read the coded instructions, decode the coded instructions, implement interpolations to generate axis motion commands, feed the axis motion commands to the amplifier circuits for driving the axis mechanisms, receive the feedback signals of position and speed for each drive axis and implement auxiliary control functions such as coolant or spindle on/off and tool change
Traffic Data Collection and Analysis Software
This Artificial intelligence(AI) based software collects and analyzes traffic data such as counting number of vehicles passing by and identifying the type of vehicle on a specific road by using streamed video from a camera as an input. This synthesis will be of interest to traffic engineers, highway planners, and others concerned with the collection of traffic data for traffic engineering studies, for long-range planning, and for evaluation of traffic law enforcement.
